Poems Published in Vermont!

Our guest book during Covid

So lucky to have amazing publishing options right here in Vermont! In April, my poem “The Guest Book” was part of the public display for PoemCity in our state capital of Montpelier. I did a walking tour & read dozens of wonderful poems hanging in shop windows, eateries, and of course, the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. They put on the month-long celebration of writing & poets. 2024 was especially poignant, after devastating floods submerged the whole downtown a year ago!

Just last weekend I joined my Burlington Writer’s Workshop (BWW) friends at the launch event & public reading for the 2024 Cold Lake Anthology. Grateful they accepted my two pieces “What Waits” and “Scraping By: A Haibun.” Between the packed room at the Hotel Vermont & a full Zoom screen, it was such an affirmation of the support we all enjoy from that not-for-profit group. Thanks to all the volunteer organizers, editors, proof-readers and behind-the-scenes tech wizards who keep it all going.
